Our workshop team deliver a range of qualifications for young people on cars and motorcycles. Starting with a City and Guilds Entry Level 3 Introduction to Motor Vehicle Maintenance, progressing to full Level 1 Motor Vehicle Maintenance, in either an Award, Certificate or Diploma.
A comprehensive Level 1 qualification – learners will gain a Btec Certificate in An Introduction to the Hospitality Industry, comprising Basic cooking, Food hygiene, Customer service and Drink’s service. This is a fun course which includes restaurant trips, Barista training and the opportunity to work in the TRAX Social Enterprise.
A Level 1 BTEC qualification in the garden, includes Health and Safety, planting, propagating and maintaining plants, learners also have the opportunity to complete modules in animal care including Feeding and looking after horses.
Delivered by our qualified youth work team, this qualification gives learners the skills and documents they need to seek employment or further education placements. Covering skills including writing covering letters, writing a CV and interview techniques learners are supported in a fun environment and inspired to achieve.
All students have access to individual support in core subjects. We offer small teaching groups and 1:1 tuition and the opportunity to sit online exams with City and Guilds throughout the year.
