TRAX has been around for over 20 years delivering services and training to young people who have struggled with the normal rigours of education and who have had difficulties in their life.
TRAX delivers a number of courses that provide skills and knowledge that enable young people to look forward with hope. Our young people come from various backgrounds often coming into contact with the wrong people at the wrong time. TRAX has been impacting the lives of young people by giving them a direction with real skills that make a difference.
Overlooked from time to time but important to us is the work we do developing social skills that support the qualifications. I know if you were to ask our staff what gives them most satisfaction, it is when they see one of their young people develop into a young adult taking their place in society with confidence.
We look to take young people further than most organisations, going the extra mile to ensure our young people have a plan after their time with us. Because we work with such a high staff to student ration we really get to know them as individuals. With excellent programmes and staff, TRAX has a great track record in delivering accredited outcomes.
As many other charities, we are looking for new ways to fund our work. We have the advantage of utilising non term time to deliver exceptional Birthday and holiday activities. These include building your own bike with our highly qualified bike technicians, a range of mechanical and technical activities, football training with qualified coaches and outdoor survival skills with our rugged team of experts.
These are combined with other activities including archery, art, cooking and team building games. Each course culminates with an exciting session on the mud buggies or quads, a family BBQ and a certificate presentation.
